Programme

The Groninger Museum and other organisations will host special events alongside the JR exhibition related to the topic of graffiti. These will take place inside and outside the museum and around the city and province of Groningen.

JR: Inside Out

The mobile photo booth for JR’s Inside Out project is coming to Groningen. Have your portrait taken and get a poster-sized print made on the spot. 

JR film programme

Forum Groningen will be showing films and documentaries JR has been directly or indirectly involved in. JR shot the photo series Portrait of a Generation and photographed the film director Ladj Ly as part of the project. The result was an iconic image that you can see in Les Misérables (2019)

Graffiti and street murals

In spring 2022, various artists and the Writer’s Block foundation will paint large murals on three spots in the city of Groningen.
